What does this mean?

I see all these abriviations for things and have no idea what it is. What does NOA stand for?

Also could someone tell me how long after the interview does one get the K-1 visa?

NOA=Notice of Action

You get NOA1 when the USCIS acknowledges that they have received your application. When your case is approved, you will get NOA2.

NOA is Notice of Action...Meaning when you file they send you a notice of your paperwork..

As far as interview

The K-1 depend on what service center your going threw and backlogs of IMBRA......check out timelines of members and that will give you an idea of each centers timeframe...some might get all wrapped up in 3-6 months as others wait 12 or more.........Best wishes and Welcome to VJ

Well sometimes the NOA that says your case is approved is not really your NOA2. Might receive several NOAs until you actually get the "NOA2" so don't let that number 2 fool you it might not be the second NOA you receive. I received 4 NOAs before I got the actual one of approval.

Have a read HERE for K-1 timelines for the Philipines. It will give you a rough idea. As has already been said though, new requirements needed to comply with the IMBRA have added some time so you would need now to factor that into it.
