1- After I marry my fiancee we would like to return to her country and visit her parents for a week or two, after we get married how long she must stay in the US before leaving the country to visit her parents? Is there a requirement? Do we have to complete a special form for this?

2-how long it will usually take for her to get her green card?

She cannot leave without green card or Advance Parole, either will take 60-90 days after filing.

The form is the I-131.

Wait till you send in your AOS package, as there is no cost for the I-131 if you send it in at the same time or later if you have your NOA for the AOS.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Please correct me if I am wrong. After we get married I must file the AOS I-485 form which is for permanent resident or green card? and all I have to is to download it from the link below, there is no need to contact any gov. agency.

And I can send the I-131 form in the same packet with I-485, correct?

And yes, you would send in the I-131 when you send in the AOS.

As a note, in an emergency where travel outside of the United States is needed (while a beneficiary's I-485 in still being processed) an Advance Parole can be obtained quickly by scheduling an Info-Pass appointment at your local USCIS office. You must show proof (doctors note, etc) that the travel is a true emergency (such as to see a critically ill relative or other true emergency) and file an I-131 (AP) in person. If approved the AP is likely be issued the same day. Do not attempt to leave the country without an AP as this can result in the beneficiary's I-485 being considered "abandoned" and will require a new Visa to enter the US (and refiling of the I-485).

My husband came on a K-3. You don't need to apply for AP with a K-3. We have been out of the country twice since he has been here with no problems. He just gets another I-94 stamped on return. We are still waiting for the AOS interview which is finally next month. But yes you can travel with a K-3. In terms of how long a green card takes. Well some people have taken only a few months but we have been waiting since June and finally have an interview in May. So it's almost a year for us. No particular reason really, we called a few times and were told it was just sitting on a desk. So I'm guessing Florida was backed up with paperwork. Hope this helps. =)
