How long does it take between NOAs receiving and the moment you can check the status online on uscis site?

I have the NOAs since March 11th and still get the message:

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

* Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number. See the FAQs for additional information on this system.

My receipt numbers are starting with "MSC"

Don't worry too much about the online status.. its very common that the statusses don't get changed over time or that it actually shows incorrect information...

for my own application it still says that my case is pending review while I already have been approved.. go figure ;)

Lots of people report not being able to get their numbers recognized to set up case status online. Try again about once a week. Some eventually get in the system. And there's been reports of the system not showing updates, but many others do get updates, so the system isn't the most dependable.
