When you list a prior spouse; do you list maiden name, married to you name or current name? I am thinking that it should be the name used when the divorce was granted, right?

If you are Tom Jones then

current legal name or

Joan Smith f.k.a. or formerly Joan Jones

or Joan (Jones) Smith

Several options

YMMV

I listed my former spouses' by their maiden names because they showed that way on the divorce decree. When we did my brother in-law's forms we showed them as Jane (Jones) Smith etc. because their married names showed on the divorce decrees.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
