Hi all! I was just wondering how long it takes to receive your visa? Does it usually take long? The officer said within 2 weeks.

My fiancé got hers 2 business days after her interview. Her interview was on Sept. 29. She was on AP after her interview pending her medical exam results and I believe they got it the same day as the interview.

I got my visa the day after the status changed to issued. Very, very fast within Sweden. :thumbs:

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has moved to Sweden with their American husband recently? I'm just curious on how long it took for your husband to get approved. Right now it says that the wait time is 14-16 months, and last time we applied for a visa for my husband we weren't married and the wait time was 12-14 months, this was in 2013 and it only took us two months to get approved. We are currently living in the US and applied for his visa in August. So I want to know if the wait time is as long as it says or if you got approved quickly? I know it's very individual, but still curious :)
