I'm not sure I agree with that.

I could learn to speak Spanish fluently and completely immerse myself in Hispanic culture; however, I would never be Hispanic. It's the same with Asians or African Americans, as well. No matter how much I learn or attempt to understand them, I will never be Asian or African American. To me that signifies a "race factor" far above a cultural or language issue.

We can all suffer together, Charles. I too am not anywhere near pizza nor fajitas nor both at the moment. Quite the tragedy.

The irony here is that when I made Haaaaals exact same point a while back he/they (since the group is all the same really) said it's not true and it's all about race. Yet he now turns around and makes the same dam point. lol South America is divide into many different cultures let alone sub-cultures. I think when people refer to Hispanic they mean the northern range of SA countries. Much in the same way Europeans are so diverse, most of my friends from Chile, Brazil, Argentina etc are little culturally and racially alike to their Salvadorian equivalent neighbors. I have some Argentinian friends who are blond hair blue eye babes. Freakin hot hence why my wife doesn't want me talking to them. B)
