He attacked the President, it should not go unpunished. It is a serious offense.

On the other hand, Bush could have pardoned him, Bush pardoned a lot worse. Pardoning would have been a major step in securing peace in that country.

But hey, we have people here making billions off of Iraq, and it sure in the hell isn't our troops, so we can't have peace.

How could Bush have pardoned him when he has no power in Iraq?
