Thanks all. I always feel better running it through for opinions. This whole process is just so intimidating for me!!

I think we'll leave out the mortgage info. I will have a letter of employment, bank letter, several pay stubs and the tax info from the past 3 years with me as well. All good!

PS - I am sitting at the airport waiting to fly home. This sucks!!!!!!!!!!! :(

I know, I saw one the other day at 36 days... on one hand I am very happy... but to be totally honest, on the other it makes me very angry.

Angry at the system, not at the couples getting approved.

No, not yet, Monday Joanna will fax in the packet 3, ds-230, and a request for a few specific interview dates. Then we wait and see what they say. I would say sometime in the next 30 days we should have our interview (all things being equal). I really want to go on the interview and bring Joanna and the kids back... so I am hopeful that we hear something quickly, so I can book flights with 2 week lead time.

But, regardless... we are very close to the end of this leg of the journey.

For sure! It's great that they have gotten things moving, but why in the world did they allow the backlog to build up as far as they did—with us as the "beneficiaries" of their neglect/incompetence—before doing something about it?

Gripe over... good morning, March family! :)

Hi Richard ,

Ah that's great .. Man it's been such a big deal to get this to the interview stage.

Well I am trying to remain focused and get through this wait.

It sure has been difficult.Of course she is patient with it ..But somedays are very hard.

I really cant even look at those people zipping right through and getting there approvals and interviews so fast.

I simple told her this weekend that I was lost for words about it.

I dont know what to say to her. But continue to say its coming soon.

We never thought it would be this much time..

We are hanging in there.

Thanks

We're doing well. The first couple days of the transition were a bit rough, but things are going more smoothly now. We still have some logistical issues to figure out—Elisha's used to being very independent (and I certainly don't want her to be stuck at home all day!) but our current abode isn't very well situated for public transportation and she's in no hurry to start driving. But we're getting there. :)

I am very glad it is mostly smooth...
