Hi everyone.

My wife and I still have a bit of time before we file our I-751, but i've begun to get all of our pieces of evidence in order to make the packing and sending of everything as painless as possible. My issue is, as of today, I don't think we have too much evidence. We still live at home with my parents (I'm still finishing up school), and have no children.

Here's what we have:

>> 2007 Taxes (Will order the transcripts)

>> Boarding Passes from a trip we took last summer to Europe

>> POE Stamps from when we returned to the USA (Oddly enough, CBP stamped my US Passport too??)

>> My wife's 2008/2009 Registered Nursing License cards showing the same address as me

>> Our new car insurance policy from GEICO

>> Letter showing joint health insurance policy

>> A Christmas card from my Father and Mother in law in France addressed to the both of us ( Should I have this translated ? )

Here's what we will have:

>> (Statement?) showing that i'm a beneficiary on my wife's retirement plan

>> Same for me (I'm just staring a new internship)

>> 2008 Taxes

>> Receipts showing a vacation we plan to take this summer

I also have an official copy of our French marriage license. Should I have this translated and included (Perhaps to show we made our marriage legally recognized in France as well?)

My wife doesn't presently drive, but she plans on getting her license over this summer, so we will include her drivers license and an updated car insurance policy showing she's no longer an "Excluded Driver."

Any other suggestions for items? We're still a young couple and still living at home which tends to complicate things as all of the bills are in my parents names. For our AOS, I included a copy of our Blockbuster Online rental subscription and our VoIP Telephone subscription which shows both of our names, but the Adjudicating Officer said she could not accept them as evidence as they were internet printed..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as always. Best of luck to you all who are still waiting!

You should include some bills ( electricity, water, internet) and a lease agreement. Then your're all set.

We still live at home with my parents and therefore all of the bills for the residence are under their names. The only real "utilities" we have under our own name would be our VoIP provider. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Maybe have your parents write a lease to both of you. Pictures of you and friends for events since wedding. Life insurance with each other as beneficiary. Both Federal and State income taxes for past two years. Marriage License translated and certified. Send copy of both French and English.

You have time to search this forum and see what others have sent. I did and it gave me a few ideas I didn't think of.

Good luck in this journey.

Joint bank account statements

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Joint bank account statements

Ooops. Forgot to mention this. We have two (joint) checking accounts and savings accounts. Have been very meticulous in getting all of these statements copied and in order.

Thanks for reminding me!
