It is interesting that it is Women's day in Ukraine...it is also international women's day for all 7th Day Adventists!

So Happy International Women's Day!!!

I don't know about "International Women's Day" though...I just know that in Ukraine, they celebrate this Holiday this Sunday...:-)

Ahhhh...muito bom!!!! I think that you are right! It is not international women's day in every country -Ukraine certainly, but perhaps not others and definitely not Brazil (as I am here and have heard nothing about it!). But, I am a 7th Day Adventist and in church this morning they said that this Sunday (tomorrow of me!) is the *International Women's Day for 7th Day Adventists!*. But, I find it interesting that it is also for Ukraine!

Happy women's day to everyone! Yes here in Bulgaria is a holiday too. The best day other than St. Valentine's day for the flower shop. I wish to all the women in this forum to stay beautifull, confident and abitious. Be proud to be a women.

I had never heard of it until yesterday. I called my fiancee. She asked me date. She then asked, "Doesn't that mean something to you?" It was too soon for any anniversary. I couldn't think of anything, which is usually bad news for a guy. She told me it was International Woman's Day, like she expected me to know. She was disappointed when I told her I had never heard of it. Apparently, it is a big deal in China.
