hello

to change the title, do this

on the top, click on My Controls

then on the left side, choose edit profile information

then you should see this "Custom member title" on the right side

you will need a certain amount of post before you can change the title, if you don't see "Custom member title" that means you don't have enough posts yet.

It's been pretty quiet in here lately. Grats on the 9 NOA's Freddy. First you don't get any for 4 months (K1) and then you get 9 at once.

We're still waiting on the JP to contact us about setting a wedding date but I figure it will be in the next couple of weeks.

I've got my shots done, ready to be signed by civil surgeon, and am getting all of the forms ready for AOS. It doesn't look as crazy as the K1 surprisingly. It's all done at once and we're together, so it's better than waiting 9 months to get different bits done. :)

Hope everyone is well.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Sri Lanka
Timeline

So it is monday and my fiance's interview is this Friday!!! Of course no police clearance yet..going on 6 months. I'm getting upset because the clearance is stuck in the foreign ministry in Sri Lanka for the past month. Everytime we call they say it is signed and they will be sending it next week. of course this is the 5th week!! So, I had tried to find someone who knows someone who works in the ministry. Well, of course in these countries nothing is done without bribery. So, money was asked of course. Come to find out after 2 weeks that these people cannot obtain the Police clearance paper bcoz the higher people have it in the department. I dont get it...apparently my fiance was number 200 and another Sinhalese guy who was 249 received his clearance. I dont know what to do. They are keeping ours back. There is no criminal history or background..and plus he's been living in the UK for the past 6 yrs. ahhhhh... UK student visa expired on july 31st. Fiance sent out an extension just in case he runs out of the 28 days. Which I heard people are getting refused. So, I am stuck :o(. someone had told me it might take 6 months to a year to get a police clearance from sri lanka!!!!!!! Nonsense...i am so tired of these countriesssssssssssssssssssssssss...ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Still waiting on some more good news from USCIS/Lawyer, hopefully next week I will be able to make my very excited "NOA2 Post" but we will see, spent the last couple of Days looking at Plane tickets for my parents though, they are flying over to spend Christmas with us (our shout) so they will be there for our Civil service and I can show them around my new home in the cold lol. We went shopping last night and they both brought snow gloves and my dad got a beanie to prepare for Christmas, its really nice to see them so excited about it all.

Has anyone heard if Mara and Chris have got their NOA2???? I would hope that I wouldnt miss such a fantastic post, but am wondering...everything seemed to be moving, but unfortunately for them that isnt always a sign that something is happening.
