yeah I'm definately not happy about it. That means even if I some how get lucky enough to be approved next month that my interview wouldnt be till septemberish. I have no idea why my consulate is so backed up but I wish they would step it up.

the only thing that worries me a bit is feb is still climbing (although slower than before) jan was as well, but seems to have halted, and dec has been stuck for awhile. Not sure if they aren't updating or aren't receiving...i see a couple got RFE's, but its like some of the December ppl just disappeared into thin air, no posts in their threads, no updates, no changes to their % on igors....I hope that doesnt affect us.

hmm

Well I wouldn't be surprised if it affects us. But I'm optimistic.

We (my fiance and me) are not in a hurry, but it would be good to get approval so we can really start making plans (my moving there, our wedding...)

Well i figure even based on approval in mayish it wont be too bad, i just want to make sure everything is good to go by nov, as I will be moving cross country with all my stuff (I basically have my whole appartment of stuff to take, as he really doesnt have much in the way of dishes or kitchen stuff etc.) and I dont want to be driving through snow storms.

Just talked to USCIS in NY. No news on my petition, they could not even tell me if it was looked at.

But i asked them what can i do to expedite the petition.

The lady gave me a speech of the rules. And then i told her that my Fiance just got divorced.. and still lives in the same house with EX husband and the situation is not comfortable and so on. She typed it in under the "Humanitarian" criteria and said i will get an answer by April 4th. She also said that Electronic system is updated every 30 days. I assume that they update at the end of the month. That would make sense when some people get their NOA2 before the electronic confirmation. I guess will have to wait till April 1st to see if we have been entered in the system.

I don't know if expediting will help or delay... at this point i will try anything to speed up the process.
