When I was 7, my parents decided to move from the suburbs of Tempe, AZ to what was then, the country life in Gilbert, AZ. We had an acre and a quarter...dad tilled a whole strip of land and grew a lot vegetables. We had raised everything from a lone sheep, to steers, goats, and turkeys. I helped my goat, Strawberry, deliver her first kid ...I think I was 9 at the time.
