I-765 and I-485 still not showing on uscis.gov, but the I-131 popped up this morning:

Application Type: I131, APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On May 4, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Thats good news. I can see all of my cases up online, but they still all say pending, nothing approved just yet. Still waiting.... :whistle:

I find myself repeatedly checking the USCIS website for my case status, i have it so that they send me emails when something gets touched or when something changes, but with the way the USCIS case status tracking stuff has been having problems, i am always afraid that they arnt going to send me an email.... so i keep looking.... anybody that has had a recent approval or change of status get an email? Just to make sure its working and stuff.... :blush:

Just dropping in to see how others who filed in March are doing. I tried to add the case numbers for Tania's I-485, I-765, and I-131 today in my USCIS case status portfolio, but they still are "not valid" case numbers. From skimming this thread, it appears that's pretty common for those filing in the same time frame. And, not at all surprising to me. ;) Looks like there is a fair chance that the online status might not show anything until there's been an approval....if at all. Again, disappointing, but not surprising. Oh well! No RFEs so far, so I'm anticipating that we'll see something good in the mail soon.

I-485 still doesn't show on uscis.gov but looks like EAD card was ordered today!

March 17: AOS Package Sent

March 21: NOA Date

April 16: Biometrics Scheduled and Completed

May 4: Application Type: I131, APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT....Current Status: Approval notice sent.

May 7: Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION...Current Status: Card production ordered.

I just checked online and I can see that my EAD is approved :thumbs: . This is the ONLY ONE I can check even if I already received my AP at the beginning of the week.

How long does it take until I receive my card and I can start working? Can I start looking for a job and say that I am allowed to work in the US or not yet? :dance:

You could have your EAD soon, this week or next week. I would say, you could start sending out your resume. Congratulations!

The only online status I can see is for the I-485, arguably the most important to be able to see so it's not all bad, but yeah, a lot of people can't see the status of all their documents.

I figure once you know an EAD or GC is in card production, I think it's safe to start looking for work, just let them know if they want to hire you that you haven't received the card itself yet (usually in an interview a question like "When can you begin working" is asked, that's when I'd answer as soon as I receive my EAD/GC which should be in a week or so).

Got my EAD today. my status online never said 'card production'. Anyways pretty excited about that.

We both having Journey in same raw..pilotayo :lol::yes::yes: anyways..Congreats!!!...

Caz I have been reading n see that some VJs says that Approval notice sent for EAD n some says that EAD Card production ordered?

which one occure first for EAD? USCIS send first Approval notice for EAD and then ordered EAD Card production?

I'm at work so I can't do too much, but I did **just** see this for our I485

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. On May 7, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.
