What are you blathering on about man? Seriously, you keep spouting off about this and that, but it bears no relation to what I think or believe. I doubt you ever bother to actually read what is written, but just continue your little internal dialogue of how the ###### hippies have ruined everything :)

I am puzzled by this notion that the GOP are more discriminatory in who they allow to vote for them. Please, tell me more. I might like to join this illustrious group when I gain citizenship.

Is it also true that you are suggesting that Democrats somehow allow citizens from other countries to vote for them and GOP candidates don't? How does that work, exactly?

I somehow doubt you'll be voting for GOP candidates given your track record.

If those coming here were voting for the GOP you'd see the Democrats finding ways to keep their numbers down. Check the movie Gangs of New York how the patronage system worked in the 1860s. Most illegal immigrants make less money than citizens (or legal immigrants); therefore, government handouts to amnesty grantees cements the relationship. Their was little debate among Democrats on amnesty because they know they'll rake in the votes.

The only wrinkle in your view of American history and immigration is that America is a 21st century modern welfare state. Sounds like your dream vision of America will turn out to really be a nightmare of uncontrollable immigration (legal & illegal) mostly from the third world that will bankrupt the country and eventually crash and burn. But at least the USA will become a one party nation ruled by the Dims. Oh, joy! And America will be a better place for it...not!

Was I replying to your post or am I missing something here?

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Loaded questions will not get accurate answers Alien.

That also applies to simple questions in your case.

I would vote for a Republican if they were the best candidate for the post they were going up for, it's really that simple.

Why didn't I just write that line first given that's the stereotypical non-commital answer?

Are the borders 'open'? I always thought all the borders had controlled entry. Perhaps I don't need a passport after all?

You should have swam acorss the river.

Prison for all, then deportation for the the thugs and their parents. I didn't know illegals had made their way to South Carolina! South Carolina???

Hell, they're in Maine and Vermont too.

Do you actually think that anyone should vote on the basis of this????

So what would persuade you to vote Republican based on their party platform?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with voting based on the individual and what they have to offer, in fact it seems to me that is the best way to vote. More people should try it it might work wonders.

Voting based on some infernal drivel called a 'party platform' is just sheepish behavior in my ever so humble opinion. Now, you might not like that answer because you can't jump up and down and say 'see, see, see you wouldn't vote for GOP ideology' Too bloody right I wouldn't but HERE IS THE THING, I wouldn't vote for Democratic Ideology either.

Those poor illegal immigrant gang members. Now they will probably get a slap on the wrist and have an arrest showing on their illegal criminal records. Hopefully they will be permitted to stay and further develop their criminal careers. And perhaps some pro illegal group can get charges pressed against the deputy for being a deputy and enticeing these poor thugs into shooting him.

Now that is the scenario I would expect to happen.

That sounds about right.

Genius at work again:

why don't you give us a disertation about why open borders and illegal immigration is such a positive influence on the USA

Ummm... daddy-0 ... I don't think her hypothesis would be where it is you're fantasizing.

It's ok, I don't reply to posts that have more BS in them than I can find in a barn. :D

I'm just giving you an opportunity to explain why open borders and rampant uncontrolled mass illegal immigration is such a positive influence on the USA. Apparently you can't find any. No surprises there.

And its probably why I think I stated that she wouldn't... since she's not in your fantasized cheerleading squad.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I agree, vote for who you feel is the best person for the job. Voting Democrat or Republican as a party platform is very narrominded. Kinda like Congress and not one Republican voting for the stimulus. Not one. Pathetic. Party lines drawn in the sand, a great way to help the American people.

or the republicans plan to destroy the dems....john mccain as pres nominee???......set up.

:P

Looking at how BobbyJ is not getting all this great press (and not of the liberal type)... I am a little more concerned at the Reps best chances for the next cycle.

But that's OTT on the OT

Bobby J most likely won't be the nominee, he doesn't have the 'something special' to wow the middle. if we do currently know the next rep. nominee....most likely he will be one of the 'out of politics for now' bunch. don't underestimate the reps...especially since we don't know what the next 4 years will bring.

The Dark Side of the Force should never be underestimated brother SMOKE.

Who knows though, seriously? If the stimulus doesn't work... it might be b/c of issue #1, #2, or both, or more. If it works... then the Reps are likely toast in 2012.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
