How long will take from the moment you request the IRS Transcripts?

Hello guys,

I'm going to ship the I-751 package around May 18 and I already received the 2008 IRS Tax Refund.

Two questions:

1 When do you think that I can request the official transcripts for 2008 (as I wrote I already receive the 2008 tax refund)?

2 How long will take to receive the transcripts from the moment you request that to the IRS?

05/25/10 - N-400 package delivered in Phoenix, AZ

06/04/10 - Check cashed

06/10/10 - NOA received

06/16/10 - Case available online

06/17/10 - Case online showing RFE (Biometrics notice) sent on 06/16/10

06/21/10 - Biometrics Letter Received

07/08/10 - Biometrics appointment

07/07/10 - Walk in Biometrics

08/06/10 - Email / Text for for new case status: "Test and Interview"

08/09/10 - Interview Appointment letter received for 09/13/10

09/13/10 - Interview Approved!

09/13/10 - Same Day Ceremony! I am a US Citizen!

1. I was able to request our 2008 transcript yesterday (= 6 days after filing electronically).

2. I received other tax transcripts that I'd requested previously after about a week. I'm expecting our 2008 transcript to show up in the mail early next week.

To all the other guys: Thank you for your answers! So if take around 3 weeks I will wait another week just to be sure and then request the transcripts.

I have been meaning to ask the same question the past weeks. Anyway, I finally got in touch with an IRS rep just today and told me that, normally, it would take 6-8 weeks before a transcript is made available to the tax payer. If tax forms are filed electronically, then it would take 10-21 days.

This is from the link. I was just trying to help. If not helpful, then I'm reallysorry for the oversight or even bothering to try to help. How I wish I can delete the link for you at this point.
