Okay!!!!!!!!!

So how long we gonna just stay quite and say nothing?

How long will we just mail an application and then check our mail box everyday like crazy for a good news?

How long can we just check processing dates online and try to make a sense out of them?

Does this process needs to be so frustrating?

Our lives are stopped!!!!!! We can't eat!!!! can't sleep!!!!! are spending thousands of dollars on phone calls!!!!!!! are away from our soul-mates!!!!!!! and we have no source where we can find information about what exactly is happeneing with our applications!!!!!!AND yet we are quite!!!!Even though we pay taxes, and are following all the laws and regulations.

Why USCIS is so different from other agencies????? When you call IRS you get information that's satisfying. Your local DMV satisfies all your needs in just one visit. You can apply for many government jobs or other benefits easily and track your applications easily!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And what does USCIS do????????

1)You mail an application, if you dont recieve a reciept, call the ONLY number you have, hold, most of the time for up to half an hour, and ...... what does the representative tells you???? He/she has no info about your application, even though post office confirmed that it was recieved by The USCIS. He asks you!!!!!!!!!! if you didnt get reciept, wait for 30 days, even though those who sent the same application a week after you have gotten the reciept. Can't this be changed??????????????

2)Once you recieve a reciept it does not tell you what exactly is going to happen next. It asks you to keep checking website for processing dates. But do these dates make sense???? Just look now under Vermont Service Center....... I-130 that citizens file for spouses have a date of Dec. 24, 2005. I 1-30 that permanant residents file for spuses have a date of October 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow whats that??? I thought citizens get through faster than anybody else!!!!!!!!

And do you even know when these dates change??? there no fixed date for them to change. Sometimes processing dates start going backword, too. So............... our only source of info here is also very confusing and not satisfying.

3) No one can answer a simple question to us on the ONLY USCIS phone number. "Are K-3 affected by IMBRA?" We have no clear answer from them but we are left to guess!!!!!!!! Do you expect that to happen when you call IRS or DMV or other government agencies?????????

4) Look what happened with new form I-129F!!!!!!!!!!!! they took so long to make it availble to public, like they are making a perfect form, OMB approved it, and here are some of the errors I have found in it:

a) Main application page at USCIS web site indicates there are total 7 pages. Infact there are 9!!!!!!!!

B) Instruction# 1C, says that we have to see question 11 if we want to file for K3/K4. But whats 11 on the new form?????????? "Mandatory tracking of multiple petitions and Dissemination of information pamphlate". Wow!!!!!!!!!! Looks like they forgot to change number 11 to 10, in instructions 1C!!!!!!!!!!

c) So now we have to figure out that when they said 11, they really mean 10. Okay what happenes when we read 10??????????? It says provide documents listed in 3,4 and 6, omit 5. Thats wrong!!!!!! It should be that Provide documents in 5,6 and 8 omit 7. So....... we have to figure out again!!!!!!!!!!!

d) Question C2, the most important for IMBRA compliance, asks, " Have you ever been convicted by a court of law (civil or criminal) or court martialed by a military tribunal for any of the following crimes" Then it provides no opportunity to answer it in yes or no. It asks us to ckeck all that apply, so if there is nothing that applies to you, you will leave everything blank, unanswered!!!!!! Well........... instructions clearly say that we have to answer all the questions!!!!!!! Also, one will leave everything blank if he/she was never convicted, but what if someone along the process, by mistake, laves a pen or pencil mark at one of the check boxes that u left blank????????? well now your appplications is serving a purpose opposite of what u intended for.

SO dear frustrated, lonely, loving, members!!!! The bottom line is that all of this is happeneing, and all of it can be corrected if we speak out. We pay taxes, we love this country, why then it should be so complex, frustrating, and burdonesome for us to deal with this issue of bringing our loved ones here. We must speak. nothing will change if we dont speak. There's media that can help if all of this is brought to their attention. Congress can really act and ask for clearifications of whats happeneing, and why is there so much mess???

But we have to bring it to their attention.

We must speak!!!!!!!!! to make it right. We have to speak up to solve our issues, but there's an issue on top of all of our issues. This is Department of Homeland Security. We and the nation can't offord for them to make so many mistakes. They have to be perfect in order to protect this beautiful land. So lets stand up for ourselves and for this great nation. May GOD bless America.

Please drop a line or two about what you think we should do?

I agree with you 1000%

I am so tired of this entire situation with IMBRA, calling the Senator's office, emailing CSC, having a bunch of totally reasonable questions and not getting any responses or clear information. If you can find a way to get in touch with a real live person who gives a sh*t and has a clue, that would be great. The problem is who to contact and how to get answers. And I have no idea how to do that and I no longer have the energy to try to find out.

I have contacted every representive that I can vote for. I have pounded on doors, and visited the law offices. My Lawyer... Useless, because cannot do anything. My local representives... Useless, its a Fedral matter. My Senators... Useless, because they do not check their email. My Congressmen, has a wonderful person named Margret.

Margret has told me the source of this mess. The delay is from the White House itself. The department that approves all forms, including the I129's has been sleeping on the job. It is called Office of Management and Budget. http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/ Please send emails demanding some action so we can continue our lives. I want to eat and sleep again. I want to have faith in this country again.

Please join me in this fight.

Since the OMB approved the new form and the template for the RFE I think USCIS is in charge now..

I agree with you guys. This is the hardest situation I´ve been through.

I had my petition recalled after getting an interview date and haven´t heard anything since then.

Not even un update on their website saying they got it.

Now I see people with a NOA1 dated two months after mine getting emails sending they have RFEs on the way and I don´t have a clue of what´s going on with my case.

I can be anywhere in those 10000 cases, even lost somewhere and it kills me to think of that.

I think you're a bit behind. The new I129Fs were already approved. http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/for...iles/I-129F.pdf

The issue is not only the forms or the RFEs. It's the fact that USCIS has not provided any information to petitioners. They have our email addresses and our mailing addresses. But they couldn't whip up a one page letter to explain their big screw up and the impact of IMBRA. If we didn't have VJ, we would be completely in the dark.

But we are still waiting and wondering with zero information. When are they sending RFEs to people who filed using the old form? What will the processing order be? How much longer will we have to wait if the only thing they need is the information on the RFE? These are the questions they OWE us answers to and the fact that no one can answer a straightforward question (let alone send us information or provide a working telephone number where a person with a brain actually answers) is the problem.

You my Dear Gimmy have gotten the answer correct I do believe!

There are no guarantees in this journey how long your case is going to take, and there is not a thing you can do about. Bogging down phone lines to any government agency you can dream up isn't going to do the trick. Thirty minute wait, well no wonder they are spending their days answering questions they can't and wont give you an answer to not to mention they DON'T have to answer, when they COULD be sending out RFE's.

Sending feel betters your way too!

AMEN!!!!!!

And I'm not even religious. :P

I contacted all of my local government representatives, wrote to the newspaper, and contacted local media.

Got a bunch of "we understand your concerns" letters and one article in the local paper.

I don't know why people are so conditioned to "sit down and shut up". Nothing changes if we don't demand change, and the only way to demand change is through ACTION.

I for one will still be advocating for change even AFTER my beloved husband is here with me - so that others who come after me won' t have to experience this disaster called Homeland Security.

If they can't get legal immigration right, how the hell are they going to do anything about illegal immigration and terrorism?

Jeez, Shrub, get your act together! (Tried to e-mail Dubya, like I had done with Clinton, but George doesn't have an e-mail!)

That is so great - I would normally feel the same way - I would normally want to do everything possible to help change this wretched system. But I still have such a long way to go (we'll need to file a waiver and wait out that nightmare if we ever get the friggin NOA2) and I am already out of "fight". I've dealt so much already with USCIS, the department of State, the consulate in Mexico, and my senator's office just trying to get straight answers to simple questions all to no avail. I can't imagine how I will actually survive this process let alone have any desire left to advocate for change when I'm finished. Pretty sad really.

I agree whole-heartedly. We all need to speak up and band together in order for them to even consider listening to us. I know all about the not eating and not sleeping part. It seems like they could give a rats ### what all the waiting is doing to our lives. I've been waiting since Jan 26 which sucks rocks but there is nothing I can do about it and it feels horrible that there isnt.
