2 questions about AOS for K-2's

1. Do K-2's have the same A# as the K-1? I thought everybody has their own A#, but my stepdaughters have my wife's A# written on the back of their I-94's.

2. We're filing both girls' AOS at the same time, do I include separate I-864's, or two copies of the same one?

Thanks

"A" numbers are unique... K-2's submitting AOS do not have one assigned yet... indicate "NONE"

Separate copies as they are separate submissions but you can prepare one I-864 covering all applicants

YMMV

That's what I thought, but the IO at JFK wrote my wife's A# on the back of my daughters' I-94's... weird.

I filled a seperate I-864 for each person I am petitioning (my husband, my stepdaughter, my stepson), I just copied the supporting documents (tax tanscripts which normally should not be copied).

On my stepchildren's I-94 is the petition number written, on my husband's his A#.

The kids got an A# when filing AOS.

Also file for EAD for the kids, you do not get a SSN without EAD, if you don't want to wait until green card.

I need the SSN for the 2008 taxes.

Who signs for the kids (they are 4 and 5 years old)?

Do I sign their name? My name?

I would sign your name and indicate as parent/guardian

YMMV
