I called NVC. I called to see if they had my new address. I changed it with USCIS in March. First I changed it online, then I called and made sure it was changed. NVC has the old address and they said it was in Additional Processing, which could take up to 2 more months. I'm on the phone with USCIS now to see if I can get a copy of my NOA2 dent to the 'new' address.

Oh no..so what is the reasoning? Maybe once issue with the address change is cleared up it will be ok?

No..it was in AP before they even knew the address was wrong. It's just luck of the draw. I just read that an AP case was over and done in 2 weeks. On average it is 50 days. So now I just have to wait and see. Breathing and relaxing... nothing I can do. Staying positive

I'm in AP also, my approval date was 5/31 and it took 2 weeks for NVC to even receive my case and then they tell me I'm in additional processing and don't know how long it will take. I don't understand how they are choosing the cases to put in AP

Don't panic, it could easily be on its way before you know it. And it could be worse, you could be stuck at USCIS when they seem to have gone back to not working. 3 whole approvals in the last week... and there is still the possibility that if they ever actually look at ours and approve it, that we could *still* end up in AP at the NVC...
