CUBA?

no...the hunky punky dance... :dance::dance::dance:

I have a friend who is obsessed about visiting Cuba, but he was born here...I told him that it would be easier for him to go there as if he was going in a religious mission that way it would be easier for him to enter and visit. what you recommend?

Marriage and paperwork submitted before 90 days. Thats the plan

When are you getting married? I'm looking at october 3rd. Plan to do the same, will probably file mid November, K1 expires december 4th i think.

Hello, it's been 6 months and 2 weeks and still havent heard anything, case still pending.... I dont want to contact the congressman or the senator yet as I've been advised because i feel the calls i have placed several times to VSC is the issue. Is there anyone out there in the same situation. I see some are approved within few months, why do some people have to wait longer than expected.

There is no answer to your question Jolex. It is different for different people. I know that Nigeria takes longer than most places. It is a high fraud country. I don't think your calls have anything to do with it. Sorry its taking so long for you.

I am not sure why some people wait longer than others. Although on the background check it could be if the names are common it will take a bit longer to clear them. I would however get your congressman and your senator involved at this point. It probably won't do much, but I doubt it would hurt. You are outside of the normal processing times for a K-1.

Jolex,

great question, wish I had an answer for you. The best I can say is (bad)luck of the draw. My contacting my congressman has not hurt my case. Lol it's still pending. ;)

Maire,

He will arrive in the US on with the K-1 Visa. He will have to fill out an I-94 form, which will be stapled in his passport. So the K-1 is done! and he is here with an I-94. it will expire in 90 days. So, get married and fill out a bunch of forms again. He has to make sure he has all the vaccine records too. It not hard...easier than before! Use the guides when you are ready.
