Can't say I'm surprised in any measurable way.

Coming from you that is laughable.

Here is a prediction of a thread.

  1. OP
  2. (insert name) Gives their opinion.
  3. The usual group, without fail, starts rebutting poster. if it's one of the disliked members, a confrontation is a given. In other words, anyone with opposing non-liberal views.
  4. Consequently, thread turns into a (insert name) is required to defend themselves and their views.
  5. (insert name) is then labeled, insulted, harassed, ridiculed. . A>Z of insults
  6. (insert name) gives up posting because it is pointless.
  7. Group then lives to fight another day. Without ever adding anything to the thread.

Even when I am not on VJ but pop in, without posting, to see what's in the news. You guys are doing the above to some other member. Deny it all you like.

Why??

Because they want dope, cheap beer and nice beaches

Is that all there there is for the tourists in Mexico? You must be referring to the younger partying crowd.

I'd have to reread the original article but it seemed most of violence was in the border towns which don't have nice beaches.

To move that dope to discerning customers on the North side of El Río.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

You derailed the thread Boo - YOU, with irrelevant tangents resulting from your lack of reading comprehension skills.

Of course it is always me. Seems to always be Virtual wife, Alienchild, Marc to name a few too. Funny that hey..

I guess I could just jump on expatgroups and start attacking people for their posts and ridiculing their photos. After all, isn't that what VJ, maturity, intelligence, tolerance is all about.

Has it ever occurred to you that the more you whine, the more divorced from reality you become.

Rhetorical question of course.

I think, I need my reading skills so bad. I'm getting lost in this forum.

Since you're lost perhaps you could find that magical location where Aficionado says I 'attack' him. :crying:

... their mod buddies turn a blind eye. God forbid anyone do the same to one of them. VJ suspensions fly in no time when that happens.

2 of the 4 mods can't stand me. The Admin can't stand me. Feel free to report me if you wish. I've been suspended before, quite a few times :)

maybe we should poll the organizers to see if you have better standing there :P

probably the safest place in the world to be - on a favela tour in rio. the drug lords there have threatened death and other forms of violence to anyone who bothers a tourist on a favela tour.

Interesting. I sense a VJ meetup in a favela.

criminals may not respect the police, but they sure respect the "kill you, your family, and your dog" threats from other violent criminals

favelas have a good security presence. everyone is looked over as they enter. also found it rather easy to spot those security personnel taking advantage of the "open carry" regulations.

How much weed do you smoke when you're posting? I asked you if there was anything else in Mexico for tourists but I guess there isn't anything besides marijuana, Modelo and beaches that magically appear at the border towns.
