Iwas living in Colombia south america and I had a maid. She always bought the food and cooked. One day I opened the refrigerator to find some thing to eat.

Inside was a cow ####### she said it was her favorite part hhhmmm dont think I could ever do that

Balut is so gross. :dead:

Actually it wasn't too bad, tasted like a hard boiled egg to me. My poor stomach just wasn't ready to handle whatever bacteria that was growing inside. Poor little ducks, I gobbled them right down

My neighbors from Laos used to eat it and they were always trying to get me to try it.I just felt so bad for those little chicks. :crying:

The original were from duck eggs, thats what I had. I know there are chicken balut here and even saw them for sale in a filipino store Claudeth used to like.

Not sure what it was, had fangs, horns, a long tongue, and a long tail, but before I could jab my fork in it, took a hunk out of my finger and ran. Never could find the darn thing.

Son told me in Japan, they have a way of filleting a fish without killing it, serve that fish with it's eyes looking at you while you eat it's raw flesh, thought that was mean.

Anyone want to join me for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

sheep's cheese encrusted with hard, green, "edible" mold on a farm in germany.

Heh. One day I opened up my fridge and it smelled like someone had thrown six rotting dishrags into the thing. I started digging to find out what in Bob's name was disgusting. I found it in the butter bin, a package of Harzer Roller. It looked just as disgusting as it smelled. I asked my husband "####### is this?". He said, "Ha, it is awesome, Harzer Roller. Yum." and ate it all. It tasted as nasty to me as it smelled. BLECH.

I like some old moldy cheese, but that was just disgusting. I don't know either if I would want my fridge to smell like mold all the time like my IL's have theirs.

The food in Peru makes me pretty sick. Almost every time I eat beef I get sick there. I also have to avoid the water and anything made with unboiled water or I get pretty sick. I love the chicken at Norky's and Rocky's. I don't like fish so don't like ceviche much..

Ceviche took me a time or two to get used to. It was my first real Americanized food and I couldn't get lemon and fish flavored gummy bears out of my head because of the texture.
