Try to eat something even if you are not hungry. You can even snack because the baby needs the nutrient specially around this stage.

Keep some fruit, yogut, stuff you like to eat even if it's just some crackers, it shows you each person body will react differently to the pregnancy, take care of yourself and the baby.

went through the craving for salad and fruit, specially citrus, I couldn't get enough of Mandarine, then it switch to Bananas, then Windy's Chilly's with raw onions, and the Mandarine Salad sometimes.

Even though I'm in the second trimester; I can't get myself to eat anything when I get up until like 5 hours later which is when I'm about to faint!! I know it's not right but I can't stand food at all! I hear how pregnant women eat all the time and have this huge appetite and I don't have that at all!

did this happen to anyone?

my appetite totally changed when i was pregnant. At first i was eating fruit salad every day, then 1 fruit every day, then 2nd and 3rd trimester the only fruit i could eat was banana. nowadays i'm back to eating any fruit.

u have to find things u can eat without feeling full. only fruit and salad is not good.

chnst - my girlfriend IRL has been having some 'digestive issues' for about a year now and her doctor kept telling her it was nothing also. FINALLY she went to the GI doc and he was very concerned about her condition and is helping her, but he also said that most general practicioners are very very uneducated about GI issues and he wasnt surprised that she was repeatedly told not to worry. so my suggestion is keep calling and pursuing that specialist - I think you might actually get some real help and not just more laxatives.

Chnst - I agree with Sara. It sounds like the GP is not alleviating your concerns. Be persistent with the specialist!

Well, Declan start puking this morning and now has a mild fever of 100. Of course, this is when his party is on Saturday!!! Argh!! I hope my little boy feels better soon.

Ben puked twice last night, first all over my arm and matress, then matress again. I couldn't make him burp, i guess that was it. From now on I'll make sure he burps. the thing is, when he's done eating he falls asleep and I'm extremely tired in the middle of the night, i'm afraid if i try to make him burp he'll wake up and want to stay on my boobs longer.

Still no poo here. Allie's intestines must be on hold because of everything that is going on. She's happy though. She eats good, sleeps throught the night and doesn't complain. Maybe today is our day.

@Nessa: Adam and Allie both puked a lot too. Nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't happen too frequently and as long as he seems content. Allie still pukes a lot...there's nothing like white stains all over your clothes.

Chrissy: not too long now for you! how are you feeling? are you preparing dylan for his sibling?

hislittle...: I didn't get hungry at all till well into my 5th month of pregnancy. I couldn't eat anything, it all smelled so bad, then suddenly a switch flipped over and I could eat a lot. When I couldn't eat I still ate cereal (flax seed stuff) and drank some juice here and there to get some healthy calories in.

richy: congratz :)

evi: as long as allie is fine I wouldn't worry. Jona sure wasn't fine and cried at night when he had the issue. if she is eating solids and u start to get worried, sneak in some oil, it helps a lot I think.

nessa: i wouldn't worry. jona puked a lot. whether I burped him or not didn't matter. in fact, burping brought on a whole lot more puke, so we stopped at some point. he just burps by himself without the whole patting on the back. I had puke all over, in my hair, the carpet, on the cat even. new mommy look :P
