My wife lost her mucus plug this morning. She got up to pee and noticed that there was a chunk of something in the toilet and when she wiped there was a little brown and a little blood. Seems like almost every time she pees now there is some mucus when she wipes sometimes with blood. Is this normal. Her Dr. appointment was at 11:30 but changed until 2 because the Dr. is in surgery.

Yes it is normal. The blood is also normal. Usually losing the mucous plug AND blood means that the cervix is dilating and birth is somewhat near. Good luck, maybe tonight is your night. Who knows.

Wow! Another baby! Yay!

I had my yearly appt with my ob/gyn today. I got to thank the other doc in the practice who watched over me when I was in the hospital while she was on vacation. He also assisted in the c-section. I am having some issues so I hope it is just all hormonal. She is sending me for an ultrasound next week to make sure all is ok and if I am still having issues, she told me a ct scan is next. It could very well be a hernia at the c-section site. For now, I am back to only lifting something as heavy as one of my twins.

Hey Ladies!!! (and Eric, too!) Forgive me for being away so long - I've been kind of crazy at home with Enzo and with my MIL...she's doing so much and I feel bad when I'm on the puter.

I wanted to thank you all for the advice regarding the breastfeeding/pumping issues - I've decided that I will continue to pump until I just can't take it anymore and continue to give him formula too. My milk is still slowwwwwww, but I'll forge ahead. Enzo is doing awesome - today at his 3 week checkup he weighed 8lbs 5ozs - which is more than a lb at his 1 week physical. Enzo is doing awesome and growing quite well.

Chrissy - I wanted to say that I feel your pain - or felt it actually. That is the reason I had to stop working my last two weeks - I couldn't take it anymore...the pain was tremendous and I would sit at my work desk and cry from how bad my hips hurt. The dr said to me, "every pregnant woman hits a wall somewhere between the 32 and 36 week where they can't take the pain anymore." When he told me that I didn't feel guilty. I just realized that my body wasn't made to be pregnant any longer.

I am so delighted not to be pregnant - it is lovely not to wake up every hour to pee!!! :dance:

i agree with the waking up to pee. but now we wake up to clean poop and breastdfeed lol.

i'll try to make an appointment tomorrow for him. I want to ask if it's normal for him to poop every time he eats. he poops endlesly lol

Nessa: My friend just had her daughter in March. She bf's as well and told me her daughter poops every time she eats. It is normal.
