bleh, i dont want to be in a hospital for 3 days. now i'm thinking about that. it sucks.

Nessa - let them pamper you - you will need it. Nothing feels as good as that first shower the day after. Take it very easy on yourself but I will say this - push through the pain and walk...it will get your body stimulated again.

Most definatly Staashi, i agree. i definatly intend to let them pamper me for those few days! btw congrats on your little guy, hes adorable

Carol Anne: I live on the second floor of my condo building. After the c-section I was told to take it easy on the stairs, but not that I couldn't use them. You'll be fine at home. I am guessing your mom just wants to take care of you and the baby at first! :)

I don't know how many remember me its been awhile and Kelly asked where I have been. Its just rough now to get back on the computer when your little one thinks its a toy :).

Congrats Staashi!! So cute and adorable.

Many more babies. I love all the pictures. Congrats to all who had new babies. I plan to get back on more once the school year is over. :)

Congratulations to all the babies that are turning one. I know their were a lot of us last year around this time having babies.

I am enjoying each stage of the baby years. We are interviewing babysitters again and taking Jay to get her one year photos. I have to run she is up now.

I am glad to see everyone is doing well.

@caybee – yes that’s right, I wonder who will pop out first haha…I have already purchased my flight for Oct 31st and when the baby’s born I will have to call the airline to add the newborn to the reservation..I have already requested a bassinet for the flight and Im just hoping that I actually get it since they said they wont be able to guarantee one…Im not too keen on holding the baby for 22.5hrs straight!

@autumnchik – thank you! Yeah, I also read that nursing the baby during take off and landing is best for the baby to avoid popping of the ears so ill be doing that.…

Nessa@ Just 2 more daysssssssssssssss! I'm excited, are you planning to post pictures of the baby???. Don't worry about the hospital, just don't forget to bring, book, magazines, newspapers and you should find out if you can bring your lap top, I can't complain about my hospital, they had wireless connection, cable and the service was great.

BTW, we started to get bills from the different doctors that checked me and the hospital, so far we don't have to pay for anything I'm a little afraid about Sofia's stay in the NICU bill, she was there for 13 days  .

We found a pediatrician, Sofia has her first appointment on Monday at 11am.

Chrissy25@ Congrats for the new house, when are you planning to move?

Ugh. Ilyas had some shots today (DTaP and Hib) and now has a fever. Not a high one (hopefully it won't go up any more), but my usually sunny-dispositioned, almost-crawling boy was just not himself tonight: super fussy and crying.

I really wonder about all those shots...do they really prevent serious problems, or are the drug manufacturers selling us a load of #######? I am loosely following the Dr. Sears vaccination schedule, and am choosing to get no more than 2 shots at a time. The sheer number of shots that our children are required to have seems preposterous. What are we injecting into our children?

Grr...I hate listening to my son moan in his sleep...

ETA: I did give him some infant tylenol...hopefully this will not be a miserable night and he will feel better in the morning!

Congrats on the milestone -- and on the weight loss  Up until last month's appointment, I hadn't gained at all. Now, I shudder to think. You are almost there!

Poor lil guy :( I know there's a lot of debate about vaccines, but I really do think they do a lot more good than harm. Just imagine how many kids suffered with such serious childhood diseases before the vaccines. My dad almost died from one in the 40s. Still difficult to see them go through the series though. I hope Ilyas feels better and is his usual self again very soon.
