Interview today at London Embassy :)))))

HI all:)

First off credit wheres its due, to you guys, for your support and to the London Embassy:)

My Visa was approved today the 13th June:)))))))

I'm not sure if i post here or in embassy forum, ill post here, if its moved thats fine.

I got to the embassy at 9.30. My appointment was for 10.30, i was in the embassy by 10am.

I got a ticket and sat down (where i met 2 other K1 couples).

I was called to window 14. A LOVELY guy took my birth cert, passports, my daughters birth cert and the name change docs, the letter from Emilys dad (to say i can move her to USA) and my police cert and the Aff of support.

He also stuck the photos of me onto the documents. He said that was great and to sit down.

I was then called very quickly to window 15. Where the most lovely lady was awaiting me. She gave me a big smile and i said, I'm so sorry I'm really nervous, i was on the verge of tears, she laughed and said, some people cry even before they get to my window, lol.

She said hi to my daughter and said that her grandchildren have that game boy and asked emily (who is 4 years old) what her fav game was, she said Chicken Little which got a laugh from her.

She told me to do the finger printing machine and said to me, dont worry your gonna be just fine and smiled.

I did the right hand raised thing i said i do.

Told me to sign the form with Steves name.

She asked me where me and Steve met, what Steve did for a job, what i was planning to do when i got to the USA. Nothing more.

She said i see you had a hard time when you where younger, ( i had depresstion and some other things happen)and with your post natal depresstion, i said yes i did. She said we all do and smiled. Asked me if i was ok now and i said yes thank you.

She said are you ready (with a big smile) i said yes! I think she said your visa is approved. But i cant recall the exact words as i was crying.

She said take the slip to the couriers desk.

I did not receive my passport back.

They did not ask any Questions other than above, they did not ask to see any evidence. It was VERY quick and they where really really lovely to me.

I hope this gives some hope to you guys waiting.

I payed £20 for tthe visa to be delivered before 8 in morning.
