I insist guys, USCIS close the offices in California, we are the approvals????? or they working like a turtle whitout legs. :protest::protest::protest::diablo::diablo::girlwerewolf2xn:

 a turtle without legs. supposedly they are working on the backlog of files. but i dont think so, cause you and I are part of that and here we sit. You know i live pretty close to csc, i could drive to it, i am curious if i'll see lights on, cars there. I dont think i can go in tho, cause they dont handle walk-ins but i'm curious.

 how you Know they are working on the backlog files???

thats what i read they did. hmm, what are they doing down there? according to Igor's list they issued 8 noa2s for the whole month so far!

No, its not funny at all but it is not fair at all to the east coast fillers who just have over 60% of Sept petitionned and only a handful of October files approved while the CSC fillers are already at 50% of November fillers approved. If I had my way both centers would be processing approximately the same dates and the waits for each center would be the same so I am hoping that CSC has slowed down a bit only to normalize the wait time between the 2 centers. I am happy for every single person who has recieved their NOA2's because that is one file down and one file closer to the rest of us being approved.

My recent theory is that they have slowed down on the family based petitions because they likely have far fewer H1Bs and other foreign work visas to process in the current economy.

It better job security for the processing centres to have a large backlog of petitions.

A few months ago, VCS was the king to approvals so soon the petitions, and CSC always be more slow, so now VSC is a little bit more slow that CSC, but in the middle of everything petitioners from june and july are absurd stuck whitout any explanations!! so the point is no who is more faster, is that USCIS must have do this job in order, no matter what. They have incredibles excuses for us, but the truth is they are the most disorganized department in the USA, and i think latinamerican was the worst , but surprise....USCIS have the crown.

ok...vent...done

Its Department of Homeland Security that is disorganized. I've had similar problems with CBP (Customs + Border Patrol), which is also under the DHS (as is the USCIS).

We can all thank the late George W for that wonderful government department and the chaos it caused.

US Department of State is much better, and I wish they processed the petitions.

:ot: Speaking of, have you seen the show "Homeland Security USA" on ABC? It comes on Tuesdays at the same time as American Idol. It traces the daily jobs and findings of various teams in the Department of Homeland Security: CBP, TSA, the team that handles international mail, etc. Watching this does help me understand why mail to/from Jamaica is so slow.

I keep watching waiting for them to talk about UCSIS, but no such luck so far.
