Hi there i was looking for info on how long from when we recieve a letter from the visa centre in california saying they are sending or info to the irish embassy until we actually recieve the package in ireland its been about 3 weeks now.

Also do you have to use the doctors they mention or can you use your own gp for the medical?

And does anyone have a phone number for the irish embassy visa enquires ats not a preimum number?????

it takes about a month

yeah you should use the doctors they mention in the package 3 and you can't use your own doctor .

You have to use the embassy's doctors, but a visit to your GP may be a good idea, they can give you your previous vaccination record so you don't have to re-do them. As to a number for the embassy, there are several numbers, it depends what you want it for? They will make you ring the premium number for general info....

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
