I just bought a bag and I feel GOOD!

Does this ever happen to u? Do u buy something and u feel happy

Oooo Yes! As long as it's all for me! It's nice to do something just for yourself once in a while. As women I think we naturally are always taking care of others and often neglect ourselves. I have personally been neglecting myself lately.

pam, girl.. i been neglecting myself for the last 10 years LOL.. i am slowly learning to find gratification instead of guilt in taking care of myself.. and not to do ####### for tat, like if I get my hair done, i feel like I gotta take the girls to the movies CRAZY :bonk::bonk:

pam, u work VERY hard my girl, u HAVE to treat yourself well or else u will get frustrated and burnt out..

Good morning ALL

it's nice to see everyone so positive! Have a wonderful wednesday!

I think I have too much free time on my hands today. The following are some real courtroom Q and A's. I could not stop laughing:

Disorder in the Courts

These are from a book called 'Disorder in the American Courts' and are

things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now

published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while these

exchanges were actually taking place.

******

ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all?

WITNESS: Yes.

ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory?

WITNESS: I forget.

ATTORNEY: You forget? Can you give us an example of something you forgot?

******

ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep,

he doesn't know about it until the next morning?

WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam?

******

ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the twenty-year-old, how old is he?

WITNESS: He's twenty, much like your IQ.

******

ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken?

WITNESS: Are you shitting me?

******

ATTORNEY: So the date of conception (of the baby) was August 8th?

WITNESS: Yes.

ATTORNEY: And what were you doing at that time?

WITNESS: Getting laid

******

ATTORNEY: She had three children, right?

WITNESS: Yes.

ATTORNEY: How many were boys?

WITNESS: None.

ATTORNEY: Were there any girls?

W ITNESS : Your Honor, I think I need a different attorney. Can I get a new

attorney?

******

ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated?

WITNESS: By death.

ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated?

WITNESS: Take a guess.

******

ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual?

WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard.

ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female?

WITNESS: Unless the Circus was in town I'm going with male.

******

ATTORNEY: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition notice

which I sent to your attorney?

WITNESS: No, this is how I dress when I go to work.

******

ATTORNEY: Doctor, how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people?

WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight.

******

ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school did you go to?

WITNESS: Oral.

******

ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?

WITNESS: The autopsy started around 8:30 pm.

ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time?

WITNESS: If not, he was by the time I finished.

******

ATTORNEY: Are you qualified to give a urine sample?

WITNESS: Are you qualified to ask that question?

******

And the best for last:

ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the

autopsy?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?

WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.

ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?

WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

TL;

Did you stay in section A all the time or did you go to Section C to wait to be interviewed?

We were in A the whole time (except to B for fingerprints) which threw me off. I did see a few people in Section C (I think it was that section - behind A, by the bathroom?)

Welcome back TL... I'm glad your almost there.. Keep your head up! I missed you.

Ray and I were in section A the entire time also besides fingerprinting. I didn't get a chance to hear any drama in Section C. lol

LOL, Shaunsgal -

The stuff that comes out in court is so funny. I worked on an arson trial - We were defending the insurance co for not paying the claim - we had pictures of kerosene soaked rags stuffed in the rafters in the basement, with a chair under them - The plaintiff's expert got up and his explanation was that no person could have stuffed rags in the rafters - they would have had to stand on something to reach - The attorney I worked for just stood their with his mouth open, then asked - Like a chair? And I put the picture up on the video screen - We won that one

there is another small room with windows by section A by the bathroom whats dat

That was the room I was thinking was C.

You can't miss Section C, it's the largest section with the most seating.

Honey, spring break is APRIL this year. Easter is April 12th, so I'm thinking anything from 4/4 - 4/18 may be expensive. I may be there in April, my dad is sending home a container home, so I want to be there to help him decorate.
