i moved to usa in 2001 from india on a family based petition

do you expect that to have any impact on this petition? i dont really know how that works. I was born here so yeah..just curious! the only reason I could see for mine to be held up is that my fiances name might be in the system from his student visa, but i am not sure.

i dont think it should have any impact,,, with immigration it is always a curiosity game,,,,, looks like all Jan filers should be getting their NOA2 soon.. most recent approvals are Jan. 40 or some still left from the IGOR list.

Who, other than me, hasn't even had another touch?? I wanna know I am not the only one...

Pizzadude...I am sooo jealous! You and I have everything the same except NOA1 date...but same day the check was cashed, and same last touch (prior to your recent one).

Hopefully I will get something...touch, RFE, approval, anything..soon.

Hey laura, no touches or anything for me either :( I feel the same way! People with the same NOA1 date as me have been approved.

Fingers crossed that this is our week

actually the "pending" part is different! if you register the case on the uscis website, theres a part that says "last updated" and has a date. that date has your last "touch" in it, and the status ("pending") part, may have not changed. so you might have a touch and you just didn't know it!

last updated 1/26/09

no touch for me either

the best is yet to come

you are not alone laura819

i have no touches or anything

but i did not sign up with uscis until 5 days ago

(dont know if that makes any difference)

its all good

but this is what i feel like

:clock:

the way you can tell your last touch is to look at "last updated" if its in january or something, then no recent touch :crying: my last touch was 1/23 :crying:

i'm happy for those of you who have been approved, but it is really hard to see people who filed after i did getting approved before me! i can only imagine how the people waiting months and months feel...

really, i am happy for those couples that re approuved so soon...but it despaired me at the same time. and well, on friday, as for me, i saw it has been touched.

but that's not approuved. soemtimes they can touch and then you can wait months so that something concrete happens. :(

ok, things will happen as they have to, i guess. :star:
