I did a search: Immigration Timelines then: Timeline search, typed in k1/California sevice center and the NOA1 dates of Feb 16-March 6. Almost ALL NOA1's before March 6 had NOA2's. Most NOA2's were in early May or sooner so maybe they are caught up until March 6. There were a few with blank NOA2's but maybe they were not updated? I did the same search for the Texas service center with good results. So now I hope that they are working on petitions with NOA1's after March 6 at all while IMBRA is still in chaos. Did everyone/some from Nebraska get transferred to California to help Nebraska get caught up?

From what I read on the USCIS website, eventually ALL I-129F's will be transferred to CSC.

They are "re-structuring", and will be handling petitions and applications according to type, not location.

why is your petition taking so long? Are you having security checks that others do not have to do? Just curious if the same could happen to me. I see five Noa1's filed in March that have a Noa2. That is not fair to you. good luck and I hope you get it soon.

It scares me when I see petions like yours taking so long that the same could happen to me. What makes it worse it the uncertainy of the timeline because of Imbra for those filed after March 6

My noa1 is 3-10 receipt date feb 9th, mine was not trransferred!?

ok so only some have been tranferred. Thanks.

Well I certainly hope that it doesn't take as long for you as it has been for me and Stacey. I think it is because extra security checks are going on. Nobody can give us that answer though since USCIS and CSC seem secretive about it all. I've been turned back at the border twice while trying to visit my fiance (who at that time was just my boyfriend) so that might have something to do with it. I'm not sure but I do know its not nice to have no clue what is going on. At least do the decency of telling ppl what is going on, you know? So I hope that it won't happen to you. Best of Luck.

I have absolutely no clue what mine is all about, unless it has something to do with the fact that my finace is originally from Pakistan.....other than that I don't know. He does not reside in Pakistan and has not resided there for years, he is residing in South Korea now, and that is the Consulate that is going to be used. So, I have not clue, he has no trouble with the law, no visa problems, clean record, has been to visit me twice over the past 4 years....so I have no idea why these security checks are goin gon our case and holding us up. all i know is it is becoming very frustrating and I am getting sick and tired of waiting around for USCIS to get off their butt and do something, I wish you the very best of luck and hope you do not have any of the problems Sarah and I have been having over the past 5 months now. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

Calidreamer and snz,

I know I keep saying it again and again, but I really feel for you! I hope you get an answer sometime soon. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you have no way of finding out why specifically your cases are taking so long AND you have no true estimate of how much longer you will be forced to wait. (Saying 6 months really doesn't help, you know?) I hope you get an answer soon. What's happening to you is completely unfair. I wish you both good luck and an end to all the waiting!

 Thanks Kara. That means alot. It does suck. Jon is going to call tomorrow and see what his Rep. can find out. It's been 4 months and 3 weeks now. *sigh* I keep hoping with every week that our noa2 will come but so far it hasn't. It's gotta be out there somewhere!!! Again, thanks.

We havent got our NOA2 either. (NOA1 Feb1) We filed it to the TSC and got NOA1 from the CSC. My fiance is USC and Im from Germany. Is anything wrong with Germany? It helps me a little to read that Im not the only one waiting so long. I always check the immigration timelines and it makes me worry more and more. All these people filed their petions way after us and already got NOA2...just cant understand it...

What can I say to all the people waiting? Stay strong! Dont give up!
