My son petitioned for me to enter the U.S. I got a letter/form wanting to know where to send infomation, etc. I gave them my home address and they just sent packets requesting information telling me what forms, etc that I needed to send in and how much to send them. I think the only thing my son had to do was fill out the financial support forms. Hope that helps.

No, You don't need to send a cover letter, all you need to do is fill out the form for both of them because you will have to file 2 forms one for each of them, copy of your birth certificate and your mother and father birth certificate copy of your citizenship only yours and the fee That's all.

If you r filing the I-130 Form it is stated on their that for: A mother: Submit a copy of your birth certificate showing your name and your mother's name.

A father: Submit a copy of your birth certificate showing the names of both parents. Also give a copy of your parents' marriage certificate establishing that your father was married to your mother before you were born, and copies of documents showing that any prior marriages of either your father or mother were legally terminated. If you are filing for a stepparent or adoptive parent, or if you are filing for your father and were not legitimated before your 18th birthday

Just go to this site and it will explain on how to fill out the form and what you will need to send with the form www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-130instr.pdf

His ur mom and dad married? if yes then list all the kids that they have together, because question 17 is all about them and if they have any kids so you should list all the kids your mom and dad have on question 17. When I had filled my form out and answer #17 I put my mother kids whom are my brother and sister and I list there names birth-date country of birth, and I put that they are son and daughter.

If not married then you have to fill out seprate forms for both of them so that you can list your brother and sister by both different sides

hope that helps
