I'm a bit nervous for our upcoming interview. I was wondering if I do need to bring a police clearance during our interview. I haven't committed any crimes or anything that againts the law.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Everyone needs police certificates of all places where you have lived for mroe than 6 months since you were 16. It is in the instructions.

Oh my ..oh my....I'm panicking right now. I'm from canada, do I need to request a police clearance in Canada?

Yes you need one. You can simply go to your local RCMP detachment and get one on the spot. No need to panic. It does have to be a country wide search and not simply a city search

Good luck.

The OP is already in the US - this is an AOS interview it seems --- he/she might need to go over the Out-of-Canada procedures to obtain an RCMP certificate.

Check the RCMP website.

I'm here in USA, how can I request a police clearance in Canada? Local RCMP is only in Canada right?

I told you - go to the RCMP website.

Other than RCMP....can I get a police clerance from police station in where I lived in Canada? I just went there last June 2008 to request my police clearance for employment purposes in Canada. Is this possible that I can ask for it and they will mail it to my Family back in Canada?
