I just got a letter in the mail saying they would be sending my I-129F to the Consulate within 4-5 days!

Great! Did NVC rep tell you when they shipped your I-129f to consulate? You can track on dhl website if you know the day they forwarded your file.

I've been trying to do this, but the instructions confuse me. NVC said they sent ours on the 12th but nothing shows up on DHL for any date

Try this, EXP 12 JAN 2009A

Then choose shipment date from 11 jan to 16 jan and track it. This should work.

There wont be any information regarding I-129f on AVR. In order to find out you have to speak with live operator. To reach operator call 603-334-0700 then option 1 then option 5, this will connect you to operator.

Good luck!

Where do I enter that number? They have a lot of different tracking options

edit: nevermind, did it, didn't see anything for London though.

Okay I am on board, who check my ticket...hehe

My I-130 and I-129F was approved, e mailed messages as of 1/22/2009 from personal e mail account from CRIS but the USCIS.gov stated only "TOUCHED". I am just waiting for the hard copy and will decides which one is better, I heard I-130 is better in the long run even with an extra weeks to wait. Anyone experienced with this, both approved, and decided to go with I-130... pros and cons, anyone?

I have few question...

1.for AOS package, did everyone filed 2008 tax to proceed with NVC? or it is ok if we go with 2007 backing by 2006, 2005?

2. For K3, I-134 form should be notirized and then sent? For k3,do I need to submit tax papers and employment cetificate of petitioner with the other forms (package 3)or I will just take it on the interview day?

Thank you....

We are doing parallel process to get better interview date and since my wife already got interview date of march 3rd for I-129f, so As soon as my CR1 case completes at NVC I will request consulate to ask nvc to forward my case so I can use k3 interview date as cr1.

sonia,

1). As far as I know everyone submitted 07,06,05 tax returns as 08 is not availabel as of yet. NVC will accept 07 untill april of this year so you should be fine.

2). k3 first you have to submit packet 3 and once you get interview date then you take all the necessary document such as I-134, pcc, and etc. to interview. But you can also try to convert your k3 interview date into cr1 if your cr1 case completes before your k3 interview date.
