I just flew in from my job offshore and had to drive 250 miles down I-10 from Louisiana to get home to Houston this afternoon. The holiday traffic sux and there are cops everywhere. I'm a nervous wreck.

I have no plans to go anywhere. The wifey has stocked the fridge with an adequate supply of Baltika beer from the Russian deli and cooked a righteous dinner. Why go out anywhere when it's all happenin' at the house? I've already started and the night is still young.

Husband and I are getting drunk & watching Battle Star Galactica because no only do we have no friends, but we're uber nerds to boot.

:lol: Wow, we have an exciting bunch of partiers here. My other choice is to arrange my sock drawer. I have the white socks mixed in with the colors and it really needs to be done.

We seem to be gearing towards a nerd evening as well - pizza -the sacred food- Dr. Pepper and pending chess match in which I shal get my azz kicked once more by Bren. Sex might be involved if he lets me win just once.

Hope 2009 is good for y'all and your peepz :star:
