WhidbeyGirl,

I'm so sorry! I know you've been trying for a while. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Thank you. Yes we have been. Have now had 2 chemical pregnancies and 1 miscarriage in the last two years.

Congrats Reese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    I will test on Friday the 13th to see if we did it this month!

AFM - we filed ROC last July and had biometrics in August. Unfortunately we got an RFE yesterday. I'm so upset! On the list the first thing they ask for as proof of valid marriage is birth certificate of child together - ####### that proves we have sex nothing more! We've been friggin' trying for over 2 years now, I've had one 8 week miscarriage as well as at least one if not two or three 4 week chemical pregnancies. I'm getting fertility treatments and everything!! The rest of the list is stuff we already submitted or stuff we don't have (ie a mortgage, credit cards together or loans). I'll be calling later today but I'm just so devastated! What happens if he's not approved?? He's deported? Or do we have other options (legal ones that is, we won't do anything illegal like overstay)?

Thanks ladies! I'm still in shock. :) We had meet & greet appointments with two midwife practices this week - finally settled on one we like (actually LOVE!). First appointment next week.

Whidbey, my fingers are crossed for a + test. I'm sorry to hear about your RFE. I like to think of the list of evidence on an RFE as a suggestion, but a clue as to what the really want to know. For example, you don't have a child together...but I'm sure you can show medical bills for infertility treatments and also get a letter from your reproductive endocrinologist (even if all it states is, so-and so is a patient of mine. she and her husband so-and-so first started seeing me in ---2011 and continue to see me). No mortgage - write a letter stating the year your home was purchased before the marriage and that you chose not to refinance or re-title. Even if you sent if before, send it again. If you want to bounce ideas PM me.

No positive yet, but I'm only 10 days past ovulation so could be later this week.

No mortgage because we rent. My parents are our landlords and the affidavit my mom sent specified that. I'll definitely have my OB/GYN write up something for us. Also will have my bosses write one up too. We have an infopass appointment sceduled for the 26th. We won't have our current taxes done by then though because the K1 forms for partnerships won't be ready until that day.

Infopass appointment was basically a waste of time & money!! The guy looked at everything I had put together and said, "Looks good, send it in." ####### I came in because I already sent all this stuff in and they're asking for it AGAIN! He told me that what probably happened was they either lost our documentation or our documentation got separated from our application.

ANYWAYS, sent in the packet that day AND today we got our approval letter!!!!!! Of course hubby isn't here so I couldn't open it to find out, but it's AMAZING what you can see in an envelope with a strong fluorescent light behind it LOL!!! I just saw CONGRATULATIONS and APPROVED - that's all I needed!!!

We FINALLY got his GC yesterday!!! 46 days AFTER the approval. Anywho, next step Citizenship. We'll apply July 1.

Reeses - how pregnancy going girl? BTW if you're not on BabyCenter forums for your birth board you NEED to get there!!! You know how helpful this forum is for immigration stuff. BabyCenter is JUST as helpful for pregnancy stuff. I'm guessing you're due end of October? or early November??

We are STILL not pregnant. Doc moved me up to 100mg of Clomid this month. I'm 10days past ovulation and still getting negative tests and my temperature is falling so I know I'll be out for this cycle next week. Doc will keep me on 100mg of Clomid for at least 2 more cycles, then may bump me up to 150mg for 3 months or may keep me at 100mg for another 3 months, not sure yet. This dose now is bend me over painful for ovulation so I'm not sure I could handle more. I'm beginning to think it's hubby's issue not mine, but there's NO WAY on God's Green Earth that he'd go in for a sperm analysis so I'm not even going to mention it - LOL!! We'll just keep trying. The more Clomid I take the more eggs are available so hopefully one of them will catch a good sperm!

I'm glad his greencard finally arrived! That was a long wait.

Thanks for the tip about the Baby Center! I just checked it out. I like that it has info that goes beyond pregnancy. I'm starting to think, pregnancy will take care of its self between nature and my midwife. But I need to have some strategies to deal with a newborn.

I am due at the end of September. Hubby and baby are doing fine. I have had crazy morning sickness. I had a brief 2 weeks of relief and then it came back. Nausea sucks, but its the vomiting at the drop of a hat thats the worst. Plus I have the added bonus of it being projectile vomit each and every time (I have all these tiny broken blood vessels in my face). I've tried acupuncture and medication (phergan and zofran) nothing seems to work. The meds basically incapacitate me - I can't think, I'm miserable at work, I'm not myself, I can barely have the strength to hold a conversation, and I sleep 12-14 hours/day. So far, I haven't gained any weight (I figure its between the vomittng and 1 hour walks 4 days a week). Staying well hydrated though. Anyway, thats the worst of it. I keep reminding myself its for a good cause! :)

I have recently come to appreciate maternity pants. I haven't gained weight, but my shape has changed and my belly is expanding.Thank goodness for maternity pants. I may never give them up. lol. I'm looking forward to wearing dresses, but its still pretty cold here - definitely pants weather for now.

I hope you're able to conceive soon. I didn't realize clomid was so painful! Its is a pill or an injectable? Are you getting treatment on the Island or do you have to travel far to see your Dr.?

Glad to hear your pregnancy is going well Reeses. I joined babycenter on the recommendation of a coworker and while I'm not active on there they do have a wealth of information that I found useful

OH NO morning sickness!!! NOT FUN!!!!!!!!!

You're just over the first trimester so hopefully it'll get better real soon for you. Did you find the September 2012 forum?? You'll find over 10,000 pregnant moms to be all due in September there :) Maternity pants are the BEST!!!!

Clomid is taken as a pill at night (so I don't notice the side effects. Since I ovulate on my own, it's job is to help me ovulate more than one egg (increasing the odds of getting pregnant), my body isn't used to that so it can be painful for a couple of days during ovulation. My doctor is off island but I actually only see him when he increases my dosage to get a ultrasound of how many eggs are maturing to make sure I don't hyper-ovulate and end up getting pregnant with quints.
