After I get my K1, get married, and then get my EAD and get a job and got my AOS done, my exhusband is willing to have my children move to the USA once we are on our feet there.

What would I file for my kids? It would be too late to do a K2... since by the time my ex will allow the kids to move down, would be about a year after I get married

Thats gonna cut it real close for us then..

Because after I get my k1, moving down there... once Im settled down there, my ex is going to wait until we are settled at our own place first. The first year were married we will be living with my in-laws saving $ for a mortgage, and then once we get a place, thats when he will allow for us to have the children move down. So if we miss the one year cut-off of the K1 issuance, what do we file for at that point?

After you are married, your husband can file an I-130 for each of his step-children, that would result in CR2 visas. They would then arrive with LPR status, just like you'll have when your AOS is done. This process will take about a year after the petitions are filed.

perfect. So esentially my fiance can start to file for it, around the same time I get married and adjust my AOS after I come in on the K1, and a year later should be good!

Thank you for answering :)

Yes, I'd file the petitions when you think you're a year away from having them here. They then have six months to use the visas giving you an extra few month's leeway.
