it took 8 months. But that includes AP , two weeks , and one week for visa to come back.

Amal - thanks for bring up this poll - looks like its opened up some great discussion. I couldnt do the poll as we are still waiting for the NOA2, we are going K3.

As of today we have been waiting 189 days since filing our I-130 & 131 days since filing our I-129F :crying:

June 26, 2009 Prince flies to America, arrives to JFK - exactly 18 months from the day we met!!

May 05, 2010 - mailed I-485

May 11, 2010 - text message stating application received

May 13, 2010 - NOA1 for AOS

May 17, 2010 - Biometrics letter rec'd

June 10, 2010 - Biometrics appt

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

I was shooting for time from applying to visa in hand. Sorry it took me so long. I've been the only tech at work and it was INSANE yesterday (for me to be alone). i'm tired lol

Visited Jordan-December 2004

Interview-December 2005

Visa approved-December 2005, 1 week later after supplying "more information"

Arrived U.S.A.-December 2005

Removed Conditions-September 2008

Divorced in December 2013

Back in the day we had our I-130 approved in about 3 weeks. Unreal, I know! He had his interview for the CR1 8 months after we first filed, so it used to go pretty quick. Unfortunately we were denied so in actuality it took us 2 years from when we first filed. :crying: Luckily this is the exception not the rule.
