After 3 and half years of being together, my wife and i have decided to go separate ways due to some irreconcilable diffrences. A failiure we have both acknowldged is due to our strong personalities. My question is in regard to the fact that i recently got my ten year card and i would like to know what effect this will have on my citizenery application in a couple of years, would they bring my divorce up? what othher impact does my divorce have on my residency.Your responses to this question will be highly appreciated.

Shouldn't have any impact other than the change in the requirement to have been a PR for 5 years now, instead of 3 before becoming eli8gible to naturalise.

Yes the only citizenship impact is you file two years later because you can no longer use the marriage as a basis for early filing.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
