Ahh my son and I were hungry so we decided to go to Wendy's to get some lunch. Unfortunately my husband took my car today so I was stuck with the crappy echo which was snow covered... and I didn't have a car brush... so I grabbed the hockey stick from inside the car and started pushing the snow off. It actually worked really well but the site was quite funneh.

isn't that against the law in canada, misuse of a hockey stick?

That is acceptable use. Hockey sticks are also acceptable to use to adjust the satellite on the roof, hang christmas lights and scare unruly children. Its the Canadian version of The Grabber.

OMG, I mailed out my Christmas cards on December 11th. I got a call from Canada last week saying that it had just arrived!

Well, they can certainly cut down on garbage pickup too. Who has enough garbage to warrant twice a week pickup?

you get 2x a week pickup?? our upstairs neighbors certainly do.. they fill their garbage bin and OUR garbage bin every week!

Do they pick up garbage twice a week everywhere? I thought it was only because it's a warm place.

Hmmm...I mailed some cards I created and some envelopes had other things stuffed into them...the first one has arrived – Chicago to Vancouver: 4 days! or maybe 5 days. Still, that is very good.

We have 6 day postal service in Chicago.

Wish we had less and more snow removal service!

That would have been great. I could have used a good laugh. I am pathetically uncoordinated when it comes to aerobics and stuff. I can concentrate on working either the arms or the legs but once you combine the two.... not a pretty sight.
