Feeling weird about NO touches...

I've been reading and comparing your timelines as I browse this section, and it is starting to seem like everyone, at some point, has had this 'touch' thing happen on one or more occasions, and I haven't in almost 3 months?

I don't even really know what 'touching' involves, but I would assume it mean they at least picked the thing up and did something with it...

I'm starting to get worried that mine is at the bottom of the pile, never to be discovered! :( Do you think it matters at all (processing times) depending on the origin of my fiance? I have wondered this for a long time....

I'm just being paramoid I'm sure, but I feel like the only one with no touches this far along!!! :( :( :(

God, I wish they'd just tell me they've tossed it in the garbage for God's sake, then at LEAST I"D KNOW!

5/23/05..... Sean leaves me to continue his trip around the world :(

7/06/05..... Sean comes back bcoz we miss each other tooo much :)))

9/23/05..... Talking every day, deciding that we can't live apart

3/11//06..... Filed I-129 with Texas after much hunting and gathering of evidence :)

7/06/06...... RFE sent back to California. Now, NOA2 PLEASE! :)

7/13/06..... Touched :)

7/17/06..... Received email stating 'RFE' info rec'd. Should have answer soon. Yeah, right. :(

7/18/06..... TOUCHED AGAIN - JUST SEND MY DAMN NOA2 PUH-LEEEZE!

8/22/06..... After much discussion and tears and anguish, we end our relationship

8/23/06..... NOA2... Great timing, Feds. Kiss my a$$.

9/30/06..... Packet 3 arrives at Sean's parents in London

10/02/06... Sends paperwork back with necessary contents

10/17/06... Notice for further evidence arrives in mail

I got ONE touch the day after it showed as delivered (and I reckon that was just someone logging it into the system)- after that - nothing til we got the NOA2.

Applied for K1

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

The only touches i have ever gotten are from when I have sent emails to them, and as you can see I have not been approved yet either, still frustrated too....

1/12/06 Mail I-129f express mail

1/13/06 TSC rec'd

1/23/06 NOA1 from CSC

1/27/06 - Check cleared

7/10/06 - NOA2

7/14/06- rec'd @ NVC

8/14/06- NVC sent petition to Consulate

8/17/06 - Korean Consulate rec'd Petition

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/25/06 - sent packet 3 back to Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

9/25/06 - Interview date - APPROVED

9/28/06 - Visa in Zaeems Hand - YEAHHHHH

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

3/13/07 - AOS package rec'd at Chicago Lockbox

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

5-20-08 - AOS INTERVIEW - APPROVED - PASSPORT STAMPED

7-2-10 - Received 10 year green card in mail

As always, thanks ppl. I just start thinking, MAN! They haven't even looked at us in almost 3 months! :crying: (Sorry to those of you who've been waiting longer. I'm totally just whining my face off right now)

When else in your life will you ever be able to say you wished and hoped and prayed and wished and hoped and prayed some more for anything SO HARD as you are doing DAY IN AND DAY OUT right now?

Probably never. I think I will just have an ulcer when this is over. Thanks for listening to me biznitch!! :lol:

We're doing K-3 and CR-1 and we've never been "touched". I wouldn't worry about being "touched". We sent in our I-130 in September and the next time we heard from them was in February when the petition got approved (that's over 5 months). Same thing with our I-129-F... we sent it in then got an approval 2 months later with no touches.

I know EXACTLY how you feel-most people do. I would drive myself mad because I was seeing everyone get approved in days & I felt like we were waiting forever. People give great advice here on vj but the best advice I was given "don't compare your timeline to others". I didn't take it of course but it is still great advice ;)

I swore I waited an eternity for the noa2-when we got it I was over the moon. Now my man hasn't even had his interview yet-could be a month, could be 6-who knows? with this process-we are always waiting for something. Really unfair-but it is our reality :angry: For the record-I DO have an ulcer :yes: I had one before but this one is soley because of USCIS. We are all here for eachother-rant on!!!!!!

I'm sorry you have to wait so long!! I've only been waiting 12 days for my NOA1 or for them to even cash my check and I feel like i've been waiting forever. This is hard!!!

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

Off the topic..where do you all get the flags?? And how do you add them??

No replies for us to, with the whole Imbra thing and all, with all new porcesses it's slowing everything down and everyones panicking which makes me panick. We're all going through the nightmare of not knowing and waiting it's a despair but it's kinda helpfull that other people know what we're going through. Fingers crossed for us all that it's starts moving soon and we'll all get touched and approved ^_^!
