Still nothing new.

Of course, I didn't really expect anything to happen on a Saturday.

But still.

That mysterious case was delivered to the Embassy in Zagreb yesterday, right before noon. Even if it somehow, by some... insane chance, belongs to us... we won't know before Monday. Or even later than that.

cdneh, I hope your interview went well!

It went very well..no problem at all!:dance:

While going through our petition the Interviewer said...."Oh..I see you were stuck at NVC for some time...in RANDOM checks'. Random. She had paperwork about half an inch thick she was looking at..with a row of boxes all down one side, and little odd looking symbols in each them.

So..it seems it is random. And in the long run we did get our Visa. So if you're stuck at NVC and worried about those extra checks resulting in a denial, don't be.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I thought there might be a couple people here worried about the NVC thing...and anxious to know it went just fine.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

congrats on the interview

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Thanks everybody...we are over the moon :D

hi everyone.

count me in, our documents are stuck at NVC,, too for 5 weeks and 5 days now.

I got worried and frantic over our case for the past weeks especially so that some of my friends who applied for 1-29F later than my fiance already had their interview schedule.

emotions had been in roller coaster.

im thankful though to have found this thread. it calms my mind one way or another.

thanks cdneh for starting this thread, it helps so much in trying to get on and continue to hope day after day. congratulations for success of your interview, too.

i hope NVC will release us from this trap sooner.

It is a worry, and I know what you mean...I think they ought to say when we call that we are being randomly chosen for this..what they are presently saying is adding a lot of unneeded stress to the already stressful process.

Thanks for the thanks...but I didn't start this thread.. heh...I just yak on it all the time :D

I hope they let you out and on your way soon..and welcome ..it's good at least to know you aren't the only one!
