Not really. I called this morning. All they could tell me is that my case is still in NVC processing.

No. In fact when we rang, the put my SO on hold, and transferred him back to NVC.

Just received a call from my Congresswoman's office. They received a reply back from NVC. What the NVC had to say was AMAZING...and I felt all of you need to know what they had to say, it said...

We received the approved petition on Aust 24th, it is currently undergoing additional processing and will be forwarded to the Embassy upon completion.

Another day, another call to NVC, another answers still in AP and another reason to call them tomorrow. Crazymazy i was hoping to get same answers as you since i'm one day after you, but still nothing. I will call them tonight, since i notice that they sent packages in bathes twice a day, in the morning between 7AM-8AM and afternoon from 3PM to 4 PM.

OH maybe this is the a,b,c ????

I'm not sure, but looking at yours it got shipped in the morning, and was a B. I was thinking on that, but it throw off the morning hours thinking that should be A instead. I really don't know yet.

when i called in the morning - they said was still in ap

when i called that evening - they said had shipped that day

same day - 2 calls

I talked to Department of State today and they actually told me something new (well, new to me)... they said "there appears to be nothing wrong with your file" (that's more than NVC ever told me) and then they said, "Sometimes, if a given consulate has more visas than they can process within a month, they block NVC from sending them more visa applications until they can get caught up with the current load."

I felt a lot better just knowing those 2 things.

Then they said, "You might contact your congressman. Sometimes a call or letter from a congressman will push them to speed things up at your consulate." Well, this really made me feel encouraged, because Naples is notoriously slow in doing things. I'll be calling my congressman tomorrow.

In the same day at 3PM EST the DHL is displaying already the information of the packages that are sent in that day ("Shipment data received.").

There's some packages to the Philippines. Just called still in AP.

Will call again before EOB and try speaking with a supervisor again.

Maverick - I do agree this feels worst than the USCIS wait..we were fortunate to have gone out of USCIS in 90 days but this feels worst because it feels like it's soooo unnecessary. And to think we still have to wait for an interview date.

Maverick, have you asked since when were you put in for the AP. Just curious. Cuz they told me my case was received on the 11th. But they actually started the AP on the 16th. Hope you'll be out of AP soon.
