I mailed my package as soon as the AOS fee showed paid. Once the website says paid, you can print the bar code cover sheet to send with your AOS package.

I am confused about sending documents with DS230 form. Does NVC just want checklist with DS230 (PacketIV) or do they want you to send the documents also. I was under the impression that you only send checklist to NVC and documents will be sent to embassy when case is completed at NVC and goes to embassy. Please enlighten.

There is no point is making a checklist as it is already on the NVC website. The checklist is there so you will know which documents to send NVC. You must send originals or certified copies. I would also recommend using the example cover letters posted on wiki and editting as needed so the NVC can quickly see what documents you are sending and in what order. This helps prevent RFEs. Good Luck!

I just paid our IV bill too! We will have to wait until Tuesday to send in the IV packet because that is when I will have my husband's birth certificate with his parents' names. At least its only a delay of a few days.

I'm glad I overnighted the DS-3032. It was accepted the same day they received it. I think e-mailing the form actually takes longer.

We are almost there!

I would advice anyone going through NVC that you should overnight DS-3032 with a barcode (instructions in Wiki) as soon as you find out that DS-3032 and AOS bill are generated. E-mailing DS-3032 is having inconsistent results. Our DS-3032 was accepted the same day it was received by NVC via Express Mail.

I hope your process is smooth and quick.

At the moment I am waiting for an approval but my husband will go through Naples, Italy for his interview.

I have researched Naples councelor and people are saying that their interview went well. Have you heard anything that we should keep in mind?
