The outcome of an election is never final - there will be more elections. Naturally, those that lost will continue their fight to further their agenda. It's called the democratic process. Works for both sides. After all, you can bet that the GOP will fight to become a majority force again. It's not like they accept the last election as the last and final word of the voter.
