But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Only needed to read the title and knew right away Aficionado would be in here whining about blacks again.

If it's proven that these tests are inflated for black people, and not administered fairly, then it's simple, devise one for them, or use another of several methods cops have at their disposal to see how impaired a driver is. I'm not too sure entirely what their protocol is for DUI stops, but they should at least use more than one, if not several methods, especially to counter cases like this.

All that really needs to be done is for an expert to be produced to say "yes there's a minor difference - but not enough to make any difference". I suspect that's probably what will happen. That or the judge will dismiss it out of hand - and welcome the attorney to file a class action suit about the breathalysers (which he won't).

Have you ever done jury duty?

Refuse to. Not a fan of the legal system.

i'm not aware of anyone being able to get out of jury duty due to their thoughts on the legal system.

Are you implying that BooYah might be shirking his civic duties...

i don't know about where he is, but in kansas one must be a usc to serve on jury duty. nessa had a summons not too long ago and she checked she was not a usc - she got a letter back saying she was excused.

I thought jury duty summons come from voter registration records?

So, BY's refusal to serve is merely another way of saying that he can't anyway?

Even if the legal system does suck, refusing to serve on the jury isn't going to change that fact so the protest is sort of stupid. Still, we'll never know because BY has already said he is never going to get US citizenship.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

i think it varies by state as to if one can serve or not on a jury if they are a lpr.

Some FYI for anyone who drinks and drives - if you are pulled over and confident that your blood alcohol level is well within the legal limit, the officer who pulled you over can still cite for a DUI if he believes you demonstrated erratic driving or behavior. Best advice - don't drink and drive! Get someone to be the designated driver or call a taxi. It's not worth it. Someone close to me is spending 3 years in prison because he thought he was within the legal limit. Please think about.

Seriously? I wouldn't have thought an LPR would be likely to be able to. Interesting, does anyone know of a state where an LPR can do that?
