I am pretty new here and most of the responses I have gotten or I have seen have been for the most part helpful and non judgemental. On the other hand the ones I don't like are the people that respond and sound condencing, judgemental, insulting and the sole purpose of them being even on is to b**** out everyone who makes a post. This site is supposed to be helpful and thus why it is a forum, a mixture of people with information and support to this "journey." It makes me sad that some people (including myself) have been apprehensive to post a question and have honestly have looked through the guides, forms and other websites and searched the forum to see if its been posted in the past to find their answer and they get the *eye roll* kind of answer, which does not make it a very welcoming place. I understand they have been posting for a long time and have been through the process already, but please you were once a newbie to this process as well.

Why should I have to lighten up? I came on VJ not to be insulted and made fun of and told to "shut up." I added to the topic and shared how I felt about disliking people who I feel are hurtful in their posts...I guess I found the right topic.

However, I should say that my intent in starting this thread was so people could lighten up, if only a little.

If you're taking stuff said to you seriously, well - you have bigger problems, beyond the scope of this thread.

We were nice all the way up until the time someone couldn't take what was obviously a joke. I'm sorry, but the reaction to that was completely....non-human. I mean, seriously.... who starts babbling about "respect" after someone posts a joking "Shut Up, N00b!". Talk about a completely OTT response.....

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
