is charles widmore faraday's father?

Supposed to be. But according to things I've read it's an impossibility. Both Ellie and Charles have blue eyes. Faraday had brown eyes. It's impossible for two blue eyed people to have a brown eyed child.

No it isn't. It's rare, but not impossible.

Sorry, but it is impossible. In order to have blue eyes you have to have two recessive genes. When those two recessive genes combine they then make two more recessive genes. It is in fact impossible to end up with a dominant gene which would give a child brown eyes if both parents have the two recessive genes that contribute to blue eyes.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I am kind of not digging the new Locke. I have asked this question on other Lost forum too, since I didn't get any valid answer I will ask here--

When Locke meets Richard, Richard asks where Locke has been--------it kind of shows how Richard and others where living their past 3 years in the island as usual, how come they didn't time travel like the rest of Oceanic 6? or am I missing something.

Losties lost those 3 years, from 2004 to 2007, time between Oceanic 6 leaving the island till Ajira crashed in the island.

The losties who were left behind were time travelling right? Because Island was moving and once Locke turns the wheel, the left behind losties find themselves in 1977.

Now my question is, how come when the island was moving, Richard and his members weren't moving along with the island, how come Richard seems oblivion to the fact when he met Locke at the beach.

Booty it depends if the person is heterozygous (genes for brown and blue) or homozygous (genes for just brown). It's just very rare because brown is always dominant over all colors. If both parents are heterozygous then there's a chance to inherit the recessive gene from both.

As Amber states above (which is brilliantly correct, may I add!) is isn't impossible. Especially, if you are able to look back through the family history. You may find that way back, Great Grandma had brown or hazel (or even green) eyes, which can then lead to two blue eyed parents having a brown eyed child.

When it comes to genetics, nothing is really impossible (or certain) when it comes to eye or hair colour. That's why you often find a red haired child occurring to parents that have brown or blonde hair. It isn't the milkman, it's that damn recessive gene.

I can't remember the explanation but I think Faraday explained that one in one of the past episodes...

My understanding was that the Others went to some kind of shelter before Locke turned the donkey wheel, which kept them from becoming unstuck in time.

Post Season Finale:

Why do I get the feeling this (Series) is going to end with something like; "It all never really happened" and was something maybe Hurley was dreaming on the plane...or "We reversed time and now everything is back the way it was before the plane crash"

Hope not ...what a cliff-hanger..

I would be really bummed if that happens. All these cliff hangers for nothing.

So Jacob wears white shirt and the other guy wears Black, even when the other guy has taken Locke's body, his shirt is black. But then Jacob killed Sayeed's wife..........so can't say he is all pure.
