Yes, it feels wonderful.

To finally have the knowledge we will have a 'date' for her interview soon makes a BIG difference in this process.

Hello, Everyone!!!!! I'm very happy for those who have their interview scheduled. Just wanted to let you guys know that my fiances visa was approved on March 4th pending medical results. On March 17th we traveled to Madrid to personally deliver my fiances medical results and on March 20th we had the visa in our hands.    The Embassy in Madrid was nice enough to give us the visa personally, something that is not usually done.  We celebrated with a nice dinner and a Flamenco Show.... Awesome!!!

My fiance will arrive in the US on June 3rd and we'll be getting married in San Francisco, California on June 12th.

We are VERY HAPPY!!!!

Good Luck to EVERYONE!!! You are all in my prayers.

Joe, We are very happy to hear that your fiance has her interview at the end of the month. CONGRADALATIONS!!!!

Hi everyone, Houcine went today for second interview. OMG! Same lady he interviewed the first time, VERY RUDE AND DISRESPTFUL! She said she didnt believe our relationship was true. She said his visa is still pending. I immediately called the consulant and conplained about her and why she didnt really give him a reason. I was told that the best way to have my complaint heard was to send an email. So I did. Houcine was very upset and hurt at the way she treated him and the things she said. I will wait for a reply and if is just a generic reply then I will call again and ask to speak with a supervisor. It really was dissapointing because they had told him to bring his passport which is usually a good thing and means you have been approved. We will wait....all will be fine.

Jeez- sorry to hear about the delays... If you don't mind, I have a couple questions for ya: How many times did you go to visit him? What did Houcine show for evidence- pictures of you two together, boarding passes, emails, phone bills, etc.? Did they say what the next step was? I hope you get some good news... I have to head to Bogota Colombia to be there for her interview- I hope me being there helps.....

Keep us posted...

Joe, I only have visited Houcine one time. He took with him for the first interview 60 pict., over 100 pages of emails, newspaper clipping of our engagement from my local paper, my itinerary from my trip along with boarding pass, our engagement ring receipt, ticket stubs for train/bus during my visit, and then last week he took in another 20 pages of emails, phone records, and finanacial infor from me and my parents. The lady who has done the interview did not give a reason why, just said case is still pending he would be contacted. Im not sure what is going on in that embassy but there are several people waiting right now and no one has been issued a visa. I am hoping they are backlogged or something. My gripe is not with the time aspect of the whole thing, my (our) gripe is with the way he (Houcine) has been treated and spoken to by this lady interviewer. She has been very unproffessional, seems to be biased, and just very judgemental. All of these things are what she SHOULD NOT be in her job. Her job, as we know, is to look at the evidence and make a judgement call on whether it shows a real relationship. I dont think she has even looked at the evidence, by comments she has made to Houcine. But, I will wait for a reply from the email I sent yesterday and if it is generic, I will be calling them again and demand to speak with someone with some sort of authority. THis is just so frustrating to know that our fate lies in this womans hands. Rachel and Houcine
