Happy Chinese New Year. The year of the cattle. Firecraker has been going on all night since last evening here at Shenyang, China.

Yes, our case got touched in 1/23 too.

My wife Mei is very excited too.

Hope everyone gets approval very soon.

We are CR-1 I-130 filers in late November. I filed for both wife and stepdaughter. Stepdaughter is daughter of a US father. No Consular Report of Birth has yet been filed on the 3 year old. Nobody has filed for a US passport either. I am sure this is going to cause delays, but we are working the issue now.

I got my NOA1 on Dec 11, 2008 and I haven't been touched once. From my point ANYTHING would be nice.

Dear Panacea and Friends,

I have been looking at the group of people that just now have been receiving their NOA2s. Most are for filers from July and August (6-7 months). Doesn't that mean as November filers we have to wait at least another 3-4 months (April / May) before we should expect to receive our NOA2s ?? To me this seems to make sense because the USCIS website graphs and tables indicate it is about a 6 month process, esp. at CSC.

Do any of you have good reason to expect a 3 month turnaround?

As far as I understand, after the file got transferred to CSC, it will usually take 2 weeks to 1 month to get approval.

It should be very soon.

My file got touached again (1/30/09) today. Something is happening over there (CSC).
